Carpool (slice 3)

During the soccer season, I am in a carpool with two other kids. I will call them Hyde and Stone for the purpose of this story. These two guys have become inseparable since starting soccer together. The first time we had the carpool, once Stone got in the car, Hyde immediately started talking to him about his backpack. Stone had a plush cow attached to his, to help him find his backpack among the rest of our team. Hyde asked where he could get one and what it was and what animal he should get. He later went and pointed it out to the whole team once we got to practice. Showing off his new friend's cow. While everyone else was trying to play soccer, they continued to talk about it and later decided to call each other "Cow Buddies" and moo to each other. On the way back they exchanged phone numbers and put lots of cow emojis on each other's contacts. A year later, they still can't bear to be more than 10 feet apart from each other. Thank you for reading! Comment, subscribe, and drink more hot chocolate.
