How Tiny I Am (slice 4)

I find myself insignificant. Not because I don't matter or that I won't have an impact on the world, as much as my place in everything. The Earth is 4.54 billion years and the universe is 13.8 billion years. I have been alive for 14 years. This puts me at 8.6956522e-10 or 0.00000000086956522 of the universe’s life span. This doesn't include how small I am compared to the universe. Considering even after 13.8 billion years we can’t even measure the size of the universe (due to the speed of light), but if we were to use the size of the observable universe (45.7 billion light years or 268647440000000000000000 miles), I am nothing. These numbers are all so big and I feel so tiny I stop thinking about this pretty quick.

  1. You really have been doing a whole lot of math, lately, Adrian. Loved this, and Katie will, too!

    1. Now I feel little too! I think that it was an awesome idea to include facts in your slice and talk about how they made you feel!

  3. Hmmmmm, perhaps I will write one about how it doesn't make me feel small. But well written anyways.
