My Comics (day 21)

Following my list on my video games, I am going to have a list of some of my favorite comics. I will not include a rating because all of these are 5 out of 5. I will however, include an age rating due to some of the content in them.

-The Killing Joke- This story follows Joker as he tries to prove that any man can be driven insane. It also chronicles the Jokers turn from a stand up comedian to serial killer. This is a great comic, that is considered a pillar for all Batman  comics. This would probably be PG-13 due to mature content.

-Joker-This is a great crime noir novel that follows the Joker after his release from Arkham by his faithful follower, Johnny. After Joker has been released from Arkham, he's lost his property and he's not happy. He's out for revenge and everyone should look out. This would probably be R for language, mature content, and gore.

-Batman: City/Court of Owls-When Batman discovers that Gotham's nursery ryme about the court of owls is true, he starts fighting the Talon. An undead expert in all forms of martial arts and acrobatics. Instead of fighting a clown, or a man with two faces, the bat is fighting his true predator. Owls. I would rate this PG. It's fine for anyone to read, but is still a very good book.

-Kamandi-This is a story about the last intelligent human in a world where the animals hold the humans on leashes. It chronicles his travels as he discovers the true state of the world that used to be before the atomic war that caused this. I would rate this PG for a little bit of gore and death.

-The Moon Moth-Based off of the short story by Jack Vance, this sci-fi story follows a small group of humans living on an alien planet wear people wear masks to show status and play instruments to speak. I would rate this G. There is no action or violence in this.

-Flight(series)-This is a series of short stories that comprises of 7 thick books made up by all assortment of authors. All of them are interesting. I would rate this PG because some of the stories are more mature than others,

  1. The 'Moon-Moth' & 'Flight' sound interesting. I like the idea of the mask-wearing-clever! Thanks for sharing all of these Adrian. Another comic lover will like seeing the reviews.
